Camber Outdoors is committed to the vision of Everyone’s Outdoors. With our partner companies, individual members, and supporters we are accelerating and achieving equity for all in the outdoors—from senior industry leadership to outdoor recreation participants–from the boardroom to the backcountry.
Founded in 1996 as the Outdoor Industries Women’s Coalition (OIWC), Camber Outdoors has elevated the active-outdoor industries as an employer of choice for the diversity of people who have a passion for the outdoors. Progress happens through innovative and thought-leading programming and initiatives, including the Camber Outdoors CEO Pledge, Pitchfest, Camber Exchanges, and a cross-industry, cross-company Professional Mentoring program. We are collectively ensuring our partner companies, the industries we serve, and the places we play are truly Everyone’s Outdoors, where diverse talent thrives.
Our 200+ corporate partners are thought-leading companies that recognize the active-outdoor industries will drive greater innovation and solve bigger problems when leadership teams reflect the diversity of current and future participants.
Our 7,000+ individual members share a love of being outside and active, a passion for protecting the places we play, and a belief that diversity of leadership and equitable and inclusive workplaces are critical to growth and sustainability.
Our staff is a team of climbers, skiers, mountain bikers, hikers, snowboarders, backpackers, cyclists, and runners. We love being outside and get out of bed every morning to live our mission and work toward our vision of an outdoors for everyone.
