In this one hour webinar, Audrey Hicks, CFO of Pioneer Human Services, will provide you with a basic understanding of what financial statements are and how to decipher them, what the heck EBITDA is (and why you care) and gain a true appreciation of your local accountant.
About Our Presenter: Audrey Hicks
Audrey Hicks currently serves as CFO at Pioneer Human Services, a non profit focused on providing a chance for change to those with criminal histories. She over¬sees the finance and accounting areas, and leads the management team through strategic planning and budgeting, as well as managing all treasury, legal and risk management issues. Audrey currently sits on the Advisory Board for Kitsbow and is a Board Trustee and prior Board Chair for the Tyee Yacht Club. She also served 4 years as Treasurer and Board member for Camber Outdoors. Prior to Pioneer, Audrey spent 15 years in the outdoor industry as CFO, first to Outdoor Research for the 10 years prior to the successful sale of the company in 2014, then as part time CFO and COO at MiiR. Audrey began her career as a “Big 8” public accountant at KPMG where she left as a Manager in 1996 to work at variety of businesses in different industries in both the public and private sectors. This included Getty Images (GETY), Seattle’s Best Coffee, Aspen Technology (AZPN) and HaloSource (HALO). Audrey also ran her own consulting practice from 2000 to 2003 and again from 2014 to 2018, offer¬ing strategic advice to venture backed startups and other high-growth clients. She received her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Texas at Arlington. Audrey, her husband and their cats live aboard their 44’ Tollycraft, Honu Koloa. When not working, she can be found cruising the Salish Sea, paddling, biking, camping and hiking in the Pacific Northwest.
